These Maxi-duty dual wheel casters are built on the proven and reliable Spinfinity® Maxi-Duty caster platforms. The sealed swivel raceway combined with the sealed precision ball bearings qualifies this series, like all Spinfinity® Series, to be 100% maintenance-free.
The top plate and inner raceway are forged steel formed from one piece, providing a superior raceway for shock conditions. Engineers also added a heavy duty "V-Style" seal for the swivel raceway, thicker legs, larger axles, and massive double stacked precision ball bearings to accommodate the higher speeds.
Dual wheel casters address the problem of how to minimize overall height and maximize load capacity on resilient tread wheels. To help with wheel selection, the rigs can be installed with new TerraTech™ wheels with press-on tires designed for applications moving extra heavy loads at speeds up to 10 mph. Among the other polyurethane choices, ideal for slower speeds, are DuraGlide, Superlast®, and UltraGlide® Wheels. Forged Steel wheels make this caster virtually indestructible, while the Nylast® wheels are well-suited for corrosive environments or applications where sanitary conditions are important.
